Welcome

It is a real honour to be joining Wansbeck as Executive Headteacher from September 2026. In the time I have already spent with the school, what has struck me most is the warmth of the community and the commitment of the adults who work here. Every member of staff takes pride in building strong partnerships with families, nurturing and supporting each child, and championing them to achieve their fullest potential.

We aim to meet every child’s individual needs by building secure, trusting relationships and providing a highly engaging curriculum. Our curriculum promotes high expectations for all children and offers inspirational, real-life learning experiences both within and beyond the classroom. We want every child to experience success, grow in confidence and develop the knowledge, skills and character they need for the future.

We are proud to be part of The Hull Collaborative Academy Trust and to work in partnership with our other schools, always guided by our shared principle of ‘children first’.
