Within our Burrow classrooms, we strive to provide a bespoke and nurturing provision, which targets the individual academic, social and emotional needs of the children.
We have two Burrow classrooms; Burrow one caters for key stage one children and this class adopts a continuous provision approach similar to the EYFS. Burrow two caters for key stage two children, this class integrates important life skills to prepare them for life beyond school into their curriculum. Both class sizes are small to enable more 1:1 learning and targeted support for children who’s needs are more complex and require a different, bespoke and kinaesthetic learning experience.
We have a structured and busy morning which includes core subjects such as Reading, Writing, Phonics and Maths. In the afternoon, we deliver a range of subjects, including PE, Art, Geography, History and music, which challenge the children through our engaging and multi-sensory curriculum.
