Start of the school day

Key Stage 1

  • Enter the school site via Tamar Grove
  • Entrance to the school via KS1 door
  • Children to enter the school as soon as they arrive on site in a filtered way
  • Parents / carers must bring their child to school

Lower Key Stage 2

  • Enter school via the main entrance gate (Wenning Grove) and walk around the outside of the school near the field
  • Children line up on the spots on the playground and wait for the teachers to collect them from the playground
  • Parents must bring the children to school and remain with them on the playground spot
  • Year 3 enter the building vial KS2 door and Year 4 via the garden door

Upper Key Stage 2

  • Enter school via Tamar Grove. Staff member will be stood at this entrance and parents to leave Upper KS2 children at the gates. Children then walk into school independently
  • Staff member on the gate ensures children do not leave the site
  • Children can walk to school on their own but must walk with siblings or other children within their school bubble
  • Children enter the school as soon as they arrive on site
  • Year 5 enter the school via KS2 door and Year 6 enter via Garden door

Wizards and ASD Resource Base

  • Enter through own door
  • Playtimes and lunchtimes are flexible according to need and should be taken in their own outdoor space.
  • School day times remain between 8:45 and 3:00
  • Children must enter the school site via the Wenning Grove entrance

Collection

  • Miss Peers class – Foundation 2 door
  • Miss Deggs Class Foundation 2 (car park door)
  • Year 1 Classroom Year 1 door
  • Year 2 Key Stage 1 door
  • Year 3 from Key Stage 2 door
  • Year 4 from Garden door
  • Year 5 from Key Stage 2 door (start to let the children out at 2:55)
  • Year 6 from garden door (start to let the children out at 2:55)
  • Wizards and ASD resource base – through own area

Year 5/6 children can walk home from school on their own if we have parental permission. The children will need to walk with family, siblings or with friends that are in their bubble. Permission will be sought from parents in the letter sent out with the changes to the day. All other year groups must be collected by a parent or carer.
